The season hasn't started off as hoped. Santana was roughed up for five runs a few days ago, which was simply un-Santana like. Mike Jacobs is 1 for 12. Castillo has been injured and Reyes is still rusty.
-Reliever Sean Green hit the DL retroactive as of April 8th.
-Holy cow, has anyone been paying attention to Jeff Francoeur's bat?!? Suddenly, the Church-Francouer swap sees some return.
-Mets were .189 batters with RISP this past week, another reason why the wins are few.
-2B Luis Castillo (sore calf) returns tonight as the Mets take on the Rox.
